What Kids Are Learning
The goal in all areas of the VKids Ministry is to connect kids with Jesus and help them develop a life long relationship with Him. We believe this journey begins as soon as a child is born.
Nursery: (6 weeks-walkers) Babies are prayed for each service. Bible stories are read and worship music played.
VKids Tots: (Walkers-2 1/2 yrs) Through play, songs, and a very soft puppet Bible stories are told. Children are able to be active while they learn the stories of Jesus.
Little VKids: (2 1/2-3yrs) For the next several weeks the children will explore the events of Holy Week. In this class the children play games, create art, hear the Bible story, and enjoy worship through singing and dancing. All components relate to the Bible lesson.
VKids Jr.: (Pre-K and Kindergarten) This class will follow the events of Holy Week through art and worship. They will hear the Bible stories as well as participate in the stories.
VKids: (1st-3rd Graders) With a large group/small group format, this age group is focusing on the attributes of God-He is all knowing, everywhere, sovereign, eternal, holy and perfect.
VKids Club 45: (4th and 5th Graders) Club 45 begins also follows the large group/small group format. During the next five weeks this group teaches all truth is God's truth. They learn to defend their faith against evolution, witchcraft, and other religions. We will reiterate all who turn to God receive His grace.
Awana Clubs: On Wednesday nights all age groups participate in our Awana's Clubs. Each club uses age appropriate tools and techniques for teaching God's word. Each group has a teaching time, game, time, and worship. The younger groups also incorporate crafts.
