What Kids Are Learning
The goal in all areas of the VKids Ministry is to connect kids with Jesus and help them develop a life long relationship with Him. We believe this journey begins as soon as a child is born.
Nursery: (6 weeks-walkers) Babies are prayed for each service. Bible stories are read and worship music played.
VKids Tots: (Walkers-2 1/2 yrs) Through play, songs, and a very soft puppet Bible stories are told. Children are able to be active while they learn the stories of Jesus.
Little VKids: (2 1/2-3yrs) Crafts, games, worship, and teaching time all focus on Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Through the stories of these men, children will be taught about the blessings of God.
VKids Jr.: (Pre-K and Kindergarten) For the Fall children will learn about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Through worship, interactive stories, and crafts the kids encounter our belief that God's promises are true in the Old Testament and today.
VKids: (1st-3rd Graders) With a large group/small group format, this age group is focusing on the attributes of God-He is all knowing, everywhere, sovereign, eternal, holy and perfect.
VKids Club 45: (4th and 5th Graders) Club 45 begins also follows the large group/small group format. During the next five weeks this group teaches all truth is God's truth. They learn to defend their faith against evolution, witchcraft, and other religions. We will reiterate all who turn to God receive His grace.
Awana Clubs: On Wednesday nights all age groups participate in our Awana's Clubs. Each club uses age appropriate tools and techniques for teaching God's word. Each group has a teaching time, game time, and worship. The younger groups also incorporate crafts.
