Compassion Ministries
Vineyard Church of Augusta desires to pursue God's heart by serving those in need in our own congregation and community and by serving the poor beyond our nation's boundaries. Through a variety of on-going ministries and outreaches, the message of hope through Jesus Christ is shared and material assistance is provided to thousands each year.
Each November, Vineyard Church of Augusta sets its focus on God’s heart for the poor. Throughout the month, we will look to God’s Word and see His heart for the broken, the alienated and the disenfranchised, along with His never-ending compassion to bring healing and transformation to us all. Compassion Month culminates when we receive our annual Compassion Fund Special Offering during our Sunday Celebrations on November 20. This is a one-time annual gift over and above your usual tithes and offerings that funds our entire ministry with the poor for the upcoming year. Don’t forget to involve your children in this important undertaking. You may continue to give to the Compassion fund through out the year!
